About Darwinia, as written by me
A real-time strategy game by indie (independent) game developers Introversion, Darwinia isn't like 'the others'. It isn't coded with market shares or publicity in mind; it's coded since it needed to be!
In Darwinia, you fight virii (correct latin linguistic would be viruses, but IV calls the enemy virii, so do I) that has infected a digital world. Image a full 3D world inside a console, or something like that, inhabited with 2D sprites, pixelated 3D primitives, fractal trees and the likes.
You indirectly control little green 'men' (sprites) called Darwinians or DG for short (Darwinian Guys), Squads of three or more pixelated 3D units, block-like engineers and the likes. With 'ideas' and theme from games like Space Invaders, you'll surely notice many similarities to those old-school nostalgic games.
The in-game control is perfect (in my opinion); to start a process (like a squad or an engineer), you draw a specific gesture in the taskmanager. You can then switch between your units with alt-tab, and terminate them with ctrl+c (UNIX anyone? :).
Gather spirits, kill virii, extract polygons from mountains, refine primitives, capture and use buildings like the incubator (A device to make spirits be reborn as YOUR darwinians), research updates for your programs (processes like squad are called programs), control armies of darwinians...

About Darwinia.tk
This is a small site (yet) about the upcoming game Darwinia, developed by indie-game programmers Introversion Software. This site is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox 1.0
It will feature downloads (demo?, screen saver?), screenshots, theories, research results, tips and tricks, and generally everything darwinian.
The site is maintained by me (obviously), zanzer7 AKA Zacharias Smith. It was created by me, with the use of notepad, mspaint, darwinia-demo, and printscreen/'p-key'.
About zanzer7
I am zanzer7, sometimes known as Zacharias Smith. I'm a 16 year old guy from Denmark, with quite a bit experience in computers. I started coding this site the 23rd of January, and have been coding both HTML, PHP, VB, C++, Java and the likes for about 2½ years.
My favourite PC game is, of course, Darwinia... BUT, who cares about what I do anyways? On with the stuff, eh? =)
